I recently was offered a job as a web programmer. Woohoo! It’s officially my first real job out of college. The job is great! I love working for them…but I’m already starting to feel the drain of the secular workplace. I can deal with the crude comments, put downs, and jokes, but I am starting to feel like I’m not devoting enough of my time to ministry. I feel like God has work for me to do, but that I’m putting it off by not devoting any time to doing that.

I’ll be proposing to my girlfriend soon. I’ll update you on that when the time comes. =] I’m so nervous! but excited at the same time. I just want it to be beautiful and memorable.

Their “What you need to know” section seems particularly relevant to our too busy, short and sweet, sound-byte culture that we live in.
